first of thanks to everyone that attended. its a shame the car show only had half of the attendance of last year....... maybe next time. i spoke with the owner of the track periodically and he was happy with everything. we are invited back again for 2007 and i will have a date in early january sometime. i already have a few things i want to change for next year. the price for the car show will probably be going up about $10 for next year. so i can actually afford to get you guys some prizes besides just the trophies.... $25 is still cheap to goto a car show....i may also do first and second place for each class next year instead of just best of show, i have a year to plan ahead, hopefully we can keep improving. also for next year if you are not in the car show you will not be parking on the same side as everyone else in the car show.

any comments post em up!

Sorry I missed it this year, glad everything went well, hopefully make it next year. Amy and I have our anniversary this week and had planned on being in the bahamas, but we decided to postpone it until november, either way it just wasn't in the cards this year.

i dont know how discover channel does it but it takes literally hours to tabulate votes......so we are not doing that again just for time constraints.

if i saw correctly, they let other people run with the rotary cars because there were a bunch of oil downs on the track.....nothing we can do about that.

i tried to make the event run as smooth as possible. hopefully next year runs just as smooth with some more excitement added in

guess the issue of multiple votes would still be an issue.. since it already happened in the past

not if you give one vote per car entered, number the votes.

dont give one per person.

Surprised the turnout was that low, I was at the last 3 each one was better the the last. I could not make it but was over at Wayne Mazda on Sat., one of the guys from Acosta was there with a FD with a Nissan Skyline turbo engine.

One of the 300ZX guys had a good suggestion-how about a Japanese supercar show-there's plenty of Z's, Supra's etc. around the area.

I just picked up two 300ZX's this spring as a project, have one decent running one now, variety is the spice of life.
