ok i just talked to the owner of the track and we are a GO for July 23rd 2006 @ Island Dragway in NJ. it will basically be the same format as last year car show+drag racing at the very end. anyone wishing to donate/advertise please let me know. i am hoping for more cars than last year which if i remember right was nearly 100! i will post more info as soon as i have it. thank you!

at the end of the day the drag strip will be exclusively for us only for an hour or two. but last year there was only 5 cars man enough to drag race https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif so everyone got like 10 runs in 5mins

i should be able to make it there this year as im not going to be able to go on vacation. the yellow car should be finished and tuned by that date as well, if all goes according to plan.



be a nice introduction for the car too, maybe ill set my personal deadline for the car to this date.

The crazy thing was that all you guys were from NY. I think I was the only person that met up with you guys from Jersey.

i rolled with the ny/nj caravan last year. pretty crazy. i'll be there again. unforunately, i'll be in the same car as last year. lol. had a few things to deal with and put the fc aside.

if JHB performance would give me my motor back i could say i'd definitely be there. i'm almost 99% done with parts, hopefully they can ship me back my housings this week and i can begin reassembly of the car since my shop is finally built. i think ill leave out some of the finishing touches (completely cleaning/painting the rear subframe and diff, and some other ****) just so i can at least debut it there. i'll see if i can get my g/f to drive my n/a, and my buddy with an s4 t2 will be there too, if i have time to put in his new engine, rtek, and turbo he should be dragging too.
