Thumbs up

I don't know what to do

I recently acquired an original rx-4, in immaculate condition. I dont know what to do in terms of the engine its got the original 13B N/A but i want a turbo.

is it worth keeping the original engine and doing a turbo conversion or would it be better if i bought a new 13B turbo outright.

also if i buy a new engine which do u all reckon would be the best, i thought a s4 or 5 13B turbo engine, that should just bolt in yeah

give it to me...lol

from what ive learned/read here. its better to get a turbo engine, specially if u want to run high boost. the engine should bolt right in, but the old drive train might not last.

I just found out that the engine that is in it is pretty much a s4 engine any way, the electronic ignition and dizzy and all that **** was upgraded s4 spec. It has also been race ported, balanced and blueprinted.

I didn't think it felt like a stock 1974 13B.

but still is it worth keeping the engine because of that or not.
