is the main relay needed to power ecu or can i run direct power to it?



also can i direct wire the fuel pump?

 

i dont wanna say the main relay powers the ecu, but i did however trace a wire from the main relay's connector to the ecu.



i also dont wanna say direct power to your fuel pump's safe either lol but i did do that in an attempt to start my car cos for some reason, it doesn't turn on when it's plugged into the rest of the harness (although a continuity test says otherwise)
