past rotary powered boats have found the lack of torque bad, hopefully your friend has a really good hull design and is building lightweight boats to try to combat this.

alot of areas also have strict noise and even emissions restrictions as well

So, by installing this engine, does that make it a Ro-Boat?

Actually, the rumor in the shop is both engines in one hull

the boat im talking about does have a supercharger and he complains about lack of torque to get the boat on plane, the boat is only a 19', you think I would compare it to a N/A engine?

you need torque to get a boat on plane, what size boat is it that he is putting both engines anyhow?
