my thoughts go to boost at this point there are a couple options out on the market for rc cars

one is supercharger but no one had posted any kind of performance graphs for it and most people say it doesn't work this is ofcourse cause it is made for 2 stroke engines but we all know the rotary is a 4 stroke

option 2 is nitrous injection they have had it in the rc world for a while now it works has good responce but runs out and burns up glow plugs

option 3 is building a boost aplaction if i went that rought it would me a turbo just cause rotary and turbo go hand in hand

any ideas

is that thing actually 4 stroke? I guess i just assumed being that small that it would just use a 2 stroke fuel setup.

pretty fuggin toight, i used to be big into rc's been a few years, i should get back into playing around with them.

well of course you need a oil gas mix but it's a four stroke cycle meaning that it never has it's intake and exhaust open at the same time

Hey, that's wicked cool. I had no idea that they made little rotaries like that. How much is one of those engines worth?

OS makes and sells them 0s.wankel .30

www.towerhobbies.com search wankel

the engine isn't cheep $300 new but if you shop around on ebay or the rc forum on that website you can get them on a deal

make sure it's the second gen that you buy the other one is a great collectors item but only good as a paperweight

these engines have a sweet sound and feeling too them they respond like a slightly smaller 2 stroke (.25) but perform power wise like a much larger engine (.40 or better) but they drink fuel like a .60 (only downside imo)

Yeah I have played with them for a while I am about to sell mine. I have a xxx-t and a xxx KE. Fun but expensive toys. I enjoy my dirtbike/street bike/car a lot more.
