the very first rotary bike was made by NSU (Neckarsulmer Strichmachinen Union) it was a 500cc engine which set the fastest land speed record for bikes in the 50's. In fact NSU were the company who worked with felix wankel and developed it into a working masterpiece.

NSU were eventualy bought by volkswagen(i think) :smirk:

NSU was rolled up into what became Audi, and Audi is the luxury branch of VW.
