Hiya from one baldy to another

I believe a few of the Van Veens had Mazda engines in (most had NSU engines)

It would be good to see a modern day Mazda powered bike though, wouldnt it?

For Nortons check out my homepage...

While I was in NAPA the other day picking up some parts for my project car, the guy behind the counter noticed my Nopistons hoodie and took out a picture of his bike.

He has a Suzuki RE-5. He says he hasn't ridden it in over 2 years but now he's excited to get started on it. I thought that was pretty cool. It's a pretty rare bike no?

So this bike has a 500cc single rotor motor?

I'm pretty sure Norton made a single rotor motorcycle
The Norton 588 engine was developed from the single rotor 294cc DKW engine (2x294cc=588cc). Norton did make a single rotor engine but not for use in bikes. They made a range of single and twin rotor engines for use in both unmanned spy/target 'drones' and in manned light aircraft. Nortons aero engines are still made today in Germany.

The Suzuki was a 500cc single rotor.
