Howdy all,

Kinda new, been trolling for a year. I have successfully installed my 12A N/A in my 914 with a Kennedy Engineering Adapter, flywheel and clutch, Renegade Hybrid SBC radiator kit.

It is time to step it up to a FD3s twin turbo that I pulled out of a doner car complete with uncut wiring and ECU.

I need help ramping up with knowledge on Wiring my ECU, trouble shooting and getting it running.

I am looking for wiring diagrams and ECU pinouts.

There are a couple connectors that go from the ECU to the in-car wiring harness that I will need to create.

Also the wiring harness is from an Automatic car, do I need to keep the TCU connected, what other issues will this create.

All help appreciated,

Thank

Brian

Brian,

Most members of this forum are not into the engine swap stuff, that brings with it lots of unknown issues with wiring and incorporating missing signals to the ECU. I have put a '81 13b na into a 74 Beetle and have retained the fuel injection and computer. All of my wiring information has come from the local library. The factory manuals have some pretty extensive and complete trouble shooting information which should help with the car side interface(s). Sometimes you can find the factory manual pages online by someone who has scanned them.
