8th place 2005 Runoffs finishing Mazda RX-3 GT-3 car. Runoffs last four years. 14th 2003, 11th 2004 and 8th 2005.14th 2006. Competed and finished 3 races this year in current form.



This chassis has turned a best time on Mid-Ohio “Runoffs” course of 1:34.95. There is no difference in the car now other than it has a different engine and trans combination.



Car has a very long history. Ex- IMSA RS car, Ex- Ron Tamburine, Ex- Sheldon Wilde car. Car finished 3rd at Runoffs in Atlanta in 1983.



Bridgeported 12A with carbon seals.

External dry sump system with Weaver pump.



Aluminum flywheel with tilton dual disc 7.25 clutch.

48 IDA carburetor modified by Paul Trap.

Tub chassis with a very nice cage. Car weighs #2080 with 170 pound driver.

Bolt in double A-arm/rack and pinion front suspension. Car still has front inner fender wells and strut pockets and could be switched back to struts and gearbox type steering if desired or inner fenderwells removed to save weight. .

Steel body with fiberglass front fenders, rear flares, doors, hood and air dam

Koni single adjustable coilovers on all corners.

Pinto spindles and rack and pinion.

Speedway aluminum hubs on all four corners. (fronts new in 2006)
