My brother has an 1981 2dr his building up with a 2.3l ford turbo c-4 tranny and 8.8 diff . What was yout best time ?

 

this was my road legal car. 280rwkw engine was 8yrs old. car did 11.5 et. im thinking of running a c4 on my next project. 13bt in a 79 ute but to sure on best way to adapt them together. got any pixs or info thanks. jason

 

Hello Jason , Happy New Years . Sorry it took me long on replying I have been with a cold for the past week and been away from the pc , Its not hard at all I have a S5 1991 TII engine I am using the S5 manual rear counter weight with a S4 1986 to 1988 Automatic Flywheel with this Transmission shop tranny kit http://nctransmission.com/index.cfm?id=606...e&pageid=32 this is the set up I got C4 with the mazda bellhousing that bolts on the front pump of the C4. any other question feel free to ask !

 

hi what all did you have to modify to make a rotary fit. i might be gettin a 79 210 soon.

It seems like you and and a couple of others on here have done a few of these swaps. This is the 1st b310 I have seen with a 13bt in it. I am just about to embark a very very similar project for my 81 2dr and I am using a complete FC as my donor. Any pointers would be very very helpful. I am also planning on using the hilux rear end but with s130 280zx front struts at the front.
