Hi been looking around for answers around forums then found this forum. So got signed up immediatly. I really need your guys help, i have a 1990 BMW E30 3.20i and i want to replace the engine with a Turbo Rotary. Thing is im new to rotary's and dont know how i will be acheiving this. Im getting a 13bt Series 5 with all loom and ecu with gear box and i want to put that in. So need help on what i need to do from the start to make this build a success.

Another thing is i saw a 13btt cosmo and is that the same as a 13bt RE?

Also anyone else done this build?

Much appreciated guys, thanks in advance.

well the one of the easier swaps is the TII swap. the keg for the cosmo is a bit different considering it is a 3 rotor as opposed to a 2 rotor with the rx7 swap.

u will have to custom fab engine mounts and tranny mount. i would suggest tearing down to a bare keg and going from there after u get fitment figured out. u shouldnt have fitment problems as the rotary is a bunch smaller than the bmw engine, but can get quite bulky with a/c and p/s.
