either modify your current one or buy one from RB.

i would keep it 12a and hook that up, you can gain the same power if known how to do it and it would look nice with the 12a, a more original modified look

What year car is the 13B coming from? If an FC or FD, you can typically just abandon the mounts, use the front cover and engine brace from a 12A, and slot the holes a little (13B is longer, and will sit 3/4" further forward than the 12A did).

There's also oil pan problems, but that's best-addressed with a GSL-SE pan, if possible. What do you have, and where is it going?

12A and 13B uses the same bellhousing pattern?

Can I put a 13B engine on the tranny from a 12A, or vice versa?

Also, would the 13B's bellhousing bolt to the 12A's gearset?

I was told you can drop a 13B engine/tranny just put the tailhousing from the 12A onto the 13B's gear set and it will work.

Is this true?

yes, you can bolt 12a tranny to a 13b motor.

So.......I can most likely use a 13B bellhousing as well, if the gearsets have the same design also.
