well here is what you need to make it fit. The ideal would be to get a 13b from an 85' gsl-se it will just drop right in, just have to fab. some mounts..

for any other 13b you will need a 12a front housing, a gsl-se oil pan, and make custom mounts.

The 12a has the motormounts attached to the front housing, so using the 12a front housing and mount setup it will line up correctly with the stock mont locations on the chassis.

The GSL-SE oil pan will clear the chassis crossmember perfectly.

Thats about all I can tell you except that a stock 13b with no turbo in that truck is slow as balls. I took a ride in one yesterday and it was crap, my b2200 with a weber carb, header and no cats would whip the **** out of it.

If you want to put a rotary in a pick up you have to turbo charge it to get any real performance out of the truck.

I miss anything ITO?

The pics above show the donor car it is a turbo. Do you know anyone else thats done this swap and has pics? Im swapping everything to include the 4.10 ratio rear into the b2000. The biggest prob im running into is motor mount dilemma.

If you want to use a 4 port Mech OMP, you will need to use the GSL-SE's front cover along with the oil pan as described. The mounting of the motor will be the same as the 12A front cover, but the 12A front cover has the mounting holes for the OMP in the wrong location - it was for the 2 port OMP.

Why ruin what looks to be a perfectly good TurboII to dump in a truck? Why not just buy a wrecked TurboII from a wrecker. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif Some people I tell you. :squint:

I bought the car not running, and it looks better in the pics then it actually is. Not to mention Im a mini trucker at heart, and have been dieing to do this swap for years now. I really would like to catch unsuspecting ricers at the lights. Who would ever think to worry about a harmless lil customized mini truck? nuff said.
