For ***** and grins get a piece of scrap aluminum, chuck it up in the vice, and hit it with the wire wheel.



Once the piece gets hot, the results can get pretty ugly



steel wired cup wheel, 10,000 rpm, and aluminum pieces = buying new parts.

Kevni aluminum can't take wire wheel like steel can..



I use wire wheel on steel everything without hurting it... Aluminum is another story.. Don't do it.
