Hey guys... been a while since I've been on, been busy with new job and stuff.



I did want to ask some advise... I sent my car to a local shop... just told them to get me running again. Well, I was informed that I needed an new ECM and that the one I have, (stock) is fried. They've been having a hard time locating one and the one they did locate was the wrong one. Anyways, My question is weather I'm better off with an aftermarket vs a stock one. As of right now all the smog gear is removed. Any advice or referals would be appriciated. West coast location.

 

the computer is one of the most reliable parts of the car. i'd get a second opinion before i believed a shop on it.
