Yeah they do work great with turbos and NA. i saw a twin turbo PP FD on street tires it was going 144 mph at the end of the 1320 thats like low 9 sec. it was much slower because of massive wheel spin. but PP are awesome but for some reason they arent big in NA or japan but they are huge in aussieland and new zealand.

they can last for a long time, it depends on how its used. streetabiliy is not so good, its gonna be loud!

I've seen different opinions about a peripheral port motor used in conjunction with a turbo application.



Several sources say that the excessive overlap that a peripheral port creates (and other extremely large porting like "monster") is not optimal for a turbo while there are guys like evil7.com and others down under that are creating some serious power. Obviously, the power put down by the later crew speaks for itself but I wonder if there is a line to be drawn?

the more overlap you have the bigger turbo you need, and the bigger the turbo the more air it can move and the more power you make. with a pp or something like it, you really need to go for huge turbo power otherwise it wont run right.
