just wondering, how much power will this motor be makign or supposed to be making? if you dont design the exhaust manifold aroudnteh sleeves the right way i wouldnt run without them...

When i rebuilt my engine in my FCrx7 i removed the exhaust sleeves, the car runs hotter now, when doin burnouts of on the dyno under boost the temperature rises slightly higher than normal around 220deg even 230deg..Its common in high HP drag engines that run for short periods of time, but constant abuse on a street engine u can expect some housing warpage over time. The alluminium housings heat up alot quicker with hot exhaust gass under load with out the sleeves installed, because the sleeve acts as an insulator to keep the heat in the exhaust track and not to transfer directly into the housing... just my 2c...rotapimps

um well those are all valid points...but I cannot get ahold of the guy he a very trustable guy but I think he made a few bad business choices and is now paying for them. I havent opened the housing so I'm not sure of the port. I was just assuming extended port, he quotes me with around 275-280 horsepower with the port. The porblem is this is my summer daily driver. I'm still a bit confused as to what to do I already have the sleeves ordered, and I trust the mods opinion here but what sort of longevity am I looking at here without the ports. Also is there any way I can help this situation if I decide to leave them out, such as upgrading the cooling system (better fan , better rad, front mount ic, etc.).

thank you agian.
