time during and after build..
how long after rebuilding can a motor sit..
and can you build it in phases for folks not having enough time to do it completely in one shot..
for example.. ive just finished puttin together the front rotor but wont have time to do the other until next weekend..

i built a motor in 99 and put it in the car in 2004, and it was ok, wouldn't recommend letting it sit that long, but the old motor wouldn't die...
the longest i've taken to build an engine is probably the PP, it required fitting all the seals to each rotor, packaging it up, sending em away, getting it back mocking it all up etc etc. by the time i went to actually assemble it, it had already been all setup and mocked up several times, so it didnt take very long.
i guess what i'm trying to say is, there are a lot of steps, and these can be done separate from each other.
