Everyone has their own reasons to do it. I've seen it done, not sure if I saw the pictures posted here.
Anyways heres some I took. For the most part the bottom of the LIM matches the bottom port of the 6p block. I outlined the port on the LIM. |

is that a series 4 T2 LIM?

S4 TII LIM, yeah.. J-spec if you are wondering where the EGR valve mount is.
I forgot to specify it's from an S4 in the title.. |
come to think of it. the harder part is, i think, getting the T2 LIM to match the NA UPM...but that might not be what your going after....
