Tii Intake On A Bp

Just rebuilt a TII engine with high compression rotors and what I'm calling a mild bridge port. We did not cut into the rotor housings. This engine is installed in a Miata that is used for autocross primarily and a few track events each year.
My question: Has anyone used a TII intake on an N/A BP application and if so what were the results? Acceptable, Great, Horrible.....etc........
A brief description of why it was good or bad would be nice as well as some basic specs on the engine.

I thought kahren car had the custom intake and a mazda TB?
Is the other car your refering to going to use the same type of intake as kahren?

im not too certain, but it seems like a turbo intake, at least the upper half, will not be a good idea in an NA application. reason for this being that it was made for air that is already traveling at a greater velocity due to the turbo. that NA upper, has a dynamic chamber which increases air velocity as it travels through it. now, a series 5 NA upper manifold, with a longer, T11 lower, to increase plenum length, "might" be the best option for high RPM HP gains in an NA application.

i'm not talking about kahren's car with custom intake. i'm talking about a customers car n/a street port with stock T2 intake on it

I had a bone stock 6 port s4 block with a tii intake
It worked great..
There was less low end torque but the whole powerband was alot more fun.
It pulled hard and didn't have power dropping off until as high as the S4 would rev
Seemed like the higher you revved the more power it was making
And it was a drastic improvement over the stock manifolds. Not as much torque below 3k RPM, but it felt like a tremendous power gain as soon as it started creeping above 3k, just pulled harder and harder.
The manifolds breathe better, I know the velocity is different, but they breathe excellent in the high RPMs, so if you like to drive hard, it's alot of fun to run those manifolds. Power just seems endless.

Emailed Paul Yaw also. He feels the intake will probably work good with some porting that will act to shorten the intake due to the runners being a little larger. The convenience of running fuel injection on a BP engine using the TII intake is hard to ignore considering we have all the pieces to do it. Tuning will take place on a chasis dyno so we will have some numbers eventually.

The turbo does not increase velocity, just density. All of the standard wave tuning theory applies just as much to a turbo engine as it does to natural aspiration.
I seem to recall a gentleman in Australia reporting 300ish horsepower using Turbo intake manifolds, aftermarket computer, and a naturally aspirated bridge port. I would expect somewhat less, given the fairly mild bridge port you describe, but the manifold shouldn't be much of a problem.
