F it, I'm going to do it. I want to bridge both the 2ndaries as well as the 5th and 6th ports. Maybe the primaries as well. I heard the Judge got one to run on stock ecu. I don't want to go standalone and am trying to stay away from piggyback(budget car). I already have new 750cc injectors for the seccondaries and had the stock primaries rebuilt. I think this will work with the mods I have in my signature. What about a fuel pump?

a stock fd pump should give you all the fuel you could ever use, on an na. also keep in mind that the s4 afm is adjustable so you dont need a piggy back even

Afm will get maxxed quickly I bet.

You have seen the light! Thats gonna be a fun DD https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Not a S4. S5 is another story though...

you can adjust the coil spring by turning the toothed ring

Silver Ninety Three 12-06-2003 01:44 PM

So what does adjusting it change exactly?

Add more fuel, trick the stock computer into thinking more air is coming in, just what a piggyback does.

you can make the door easier or harder to open, effectively causing the mixture to be richer or leaner than before.

I took too long to edit my post

It's easier to picture it like this, you have a piece of toast, and you have a fixed amount of jelly. Making the door harder to open is like increasing the toast surface area. You have the same amount of jelly but more toast to cover, so it gets spread thinner over a wider range (this will make the mixture leaner and capable of metering a larger range of airflow) it goes the other way too, shrink the toast, same jelly, thicker layer over smaller range. Easier to open, richer but capable of metering a smaller range of airflow.

It's kindof ghetto.

If you're looking for just some tunability of the fuel a pot on the temp sensor(s) would probably work out better.

btw, if anyone knows more about the afm feel free to correct me, I just thought up the metaphor real quick it might not be quite right.
