Tension Bolts?

I am tearing my 13B for my FD.

I was just wondering if I will be able to use same tension bolts or would I have to buy new ones?

I would think unless I damage some I should replace but otherwise they look fine.

Yes, please to Sesshoumaru and loosen them in the correct order or you will run the risk of warping the rotor housings during disassembly.



You can re-use the tension bolts. Clean them up and BE SURE to clean the threads on them as well as in the front iron housing.

And to properly clean the threads, run them thru the correct size die.

I did remove the tension bolts in the correct order.

So I should be good as long as I die them and change the seals.

Thanx for the feedback guys.



Should I use any thread lock when installing them back in the engine?

any thoughts on the heat shrink on the middle section (and blue thread lock on the end threads?)? I was going to pick some up tonight...
