when replacing the original through bolts with bigger studs,

what do you do regarding the washers with the rings on the standard through bolts, can you just use flat washers and tighten the nuts on the studs?

i have been told it might leak water but i wanted to get some advice from someone who has used studs before.

any help appreciated.

cheers

if you're using stock diameter studs, then you can use the stock seals. if you have larger studs maybe the 20b ones would work? or maybe you get to silicon it? it will leak if you dont do something

If you're going to use a flat washer you need to put a bevel in it and put an o-ring in there. Make sure you don't over squish the o-ring or it will break...

Use the factory O ring washers.
