the s6 gear are supposed to be hardened, they have "3 window bearings" like the race parts, and they run a slightly different clearance at the rear near the flywheel. the front takes larger thrust bearings

Has Anyone fitted a S6 ft Stationary gears to a S5 Engine?

I am Intrested as the Thrust bearings are bigger and better than the S5 + S6 Gears are hardened which if it can be done without major mods would be worth doing.

I know the rear Gears are very simalar and can be swaped without a problem (complete with Window bearing).

If i was to buy the hole FT assembly would it work with the T2 E-Shaft?

Use stationary gears from a FD.. strong as hell and better than the FC stuff with better bearings and they bolt right in..

I've built a engine with FC rotors and E-shaft with FD stationary gears and it ran for 2 years till it leaked coolant and overheated on a 100+ day and fubared one of the inner o-rings...

What did you have to change to fit the S6 gears?
