Some What New
#1
Hey I have a few questions. Well two as of right now unless I think of more while typeing. Ok now I would like to know what different types of engines come in rx-7's or clear it up a little. I know you have the 13b, and the 13b REW or 13BREW i'm not sure if there is a difference between the last two or any thing but what is the difference between all of them. Another thing that I'm wondering is what is blueprinting. I hear it some what a lot. I kinda know what balanceing is (if you have any info on how its done that would be cool). I was just wondering those little questions so if you could give me a page or some thing that i can read about that stuff that would be cool so later zero376

Get this: the Cosmo 13BRE and 20B are actually supposed to be called 13BREW and 20BREW. Kinda confusing. I just tend to call them 13BRE and 20B like what everybody else on the forum calls them. They all have 'W' or 'double' turbos so this is the way to tell them apart.
Edit: blueprinting is what's done in boingers to show the buyer what the valve spring rates are, bearing tolerances (I think) etc. It's unnecessary in a rotary, but still doable. I'd personally never worry about blueprinting a rotary.
Balancing is unnecessary on a factory rotating assembly, unless you plan to spin it faster than 8500RPM.
