These are some custom shock mounts for a straight axle setup. I haven't posted in this new section, so I thought I would share a bit Let me know what you think.

What is the thinking on that offset at the bottom of the shock body?

Sorry for my delay in reply. The straight axle in question isn't in an FB, but good guess The reason is the same either way. To get the best stroke on the shock, it had to be offset. These coil overs are replacing where springs alone used to go. I will be allowed to post more pictures and divulge more information on this car once it is revealed in a few weeks. Until then we are under lock and key with info. I can tell you that if you watch SPEED channel on November 18th, there is a reveal program that is live and this car will be debuted I do not have a schedule for the program yet, but I can only imagine that it is in the later part of the day so this OEM can get maximum exposure from their live broadcast.
