Yeah, I bought a JDM 13B-t S5 and both rotor housings are eat to ****. I found a good deal on some series 6 housings with cermet coating on them, and I was just woundering if they would work for my engine????

I need at least 1 new rotor also... do you guys know where I can get a good used rotor(s)???

they're compatible.



look in the for sale section on all the forums and you'll find rotors for sale.

Not sure about the S5>S6 EGR path differences, so compare closely (exhaust sleeves and EGR passages).

MY S5 housings have no place for a EGR. I took a good look at the pic's of the S6 housings, and they dont have a place for a EGR eather.. So I'm safe there.

Exhaust Gas Recycle circuit, be it not actually exhaust fumes or fresh air from the pump, whatever. All that annoying crap everybody ends up ditching, watch out for it. And be certain!



Nothing sucks more than putting something together and forgetting about emissions circuits.

yeah in california the shoe is on the other foot, a suprising number of builders put the motors together with the rotor housings swapped front to rear, which blocks off the air pump passages, and then the car doesnt pass smog, ever

it's pretty hard to miss the big "F" and "R" stamps on the housings. and if they didn't have them, the builder should mark them or at least remember them...makes me wonder what other things get overlooked in that kind of build...yikes!
