the obd2 stuff is neat, so we went and road tested an rx8 for the recall.
the leading timing @wot over 7000 is 30btdc.... decel and idle its -5btdc cruising it goes really quickly to around 36btdc, around 2500 rpms... although if you move the pedal it retards real quickly |
Interesting.
What's the split do? |
i dunno, we've got another one to drive, so i think we'll graph a run, and then get a printout.
i'm thinking i'll just do a 3rd gear run from 1000-8500 or whatever |
TRAILING runs about 10btdc@idle, drops negative on throttle, and then climbs to about 15btdc @wot

it says btdc.... I'm REALLY drunk right now and I understood. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
That's a lot of split for an NA. hmmmm....
|
it was 2 different cars, on 2 different runs. i'd like to get screen shots, we can do it, but jack knows
|
Yeah those graphs would be really interesting to see. Just out of curisosity would the renesis have different timing needs than the older 13b's do the different porting?
