Rotor Question

i disassembled my fd motor yesterday and forgot to mark front rotor from the rear one. does it really matter which one goes where? i didn't see any markings on the rotors to indicate their position. i know the rotor housings has markings. anyone ???...

Generally speaking, no, but I practice the technique of using the heavier rotor as the rear. In theory, they're a balanced set and identical in every way so they can be swapped.

Why the heavier rotor in the rear, is the eshaft supported better/closer in the rear?

You should mark them front/rear if you are going to re-use the same rotor bearings. If not, I see no reason at all you can't flip front/rear rotors.
