I think this has been asked before, but how hard do you think it would be to move the exhaust ports to the side on the 13B? I would assume the two big tasks are plugging the original exhaust port (anti-PP?), and then blocking off the water jackets for the new exhaust port. What is in the middle of the side housings at that location on the stock 13B? More water? I guess you would have to weld in a steel insert to get from the exhaust chamber to the outside edge of the housing.

What do you guys think?

you would have to do something like that, althoug i dunno why you would want to, the renisis makes more hp out of the box than any previous 13b na motor, short of the racing engines (pp 12a 280hp, and pp 13b 320hp)

i heard they moved the water grooves again because of the exhaust ports, needed more material there to have the exhaust ports large enough.

Geez....I just went to the car show today. They wouldn't open the hood when I asked the showroom guy.

The reason I ask is because of the rules of the class I'm racing in. I have to start with the stock engine. But I'm allowed to move the ports around if I want. (I WANT! I WANT!) I don't think I'm even allowed to use 13BT rotor housings since my car is NA. So I get to look forward to extra exhaust port work.
