I have just pulled down an engine that has been ported by another engine builder.

The Primary ports have there opening timing standard with a late closing. The secondarys have early opening with the closing earler than the primaries.

What are your thoughts with regards to the port timing between the primary and secondarys? The above engine is single turbo .

With turbo's its best to have the least overlap as possible between the exhast and intake ports. I think your question about porting is well minded but as long as its not a bridge port you should be ok with porting

show me a picture of the ported housing up close just to make sure that we are on the same page. thank you

Please note I am not asking about intake/exhaust relationship (overlap)

I am asking about the port timing for the intake. Should the primary and secondary intake ports have the same timing??

The engine in question does not have the same timing opening or closing.

Sorry if the first post was unclear. I believe the timing should be the same, especially the closing.
