Same as factory pp will work no problems 48 id . Are you gone to run primary ports with mild extend ports? Heres a manifold i made a few years ago.

Turbo block custom pp ( made the same as factory ones) 700 primaries 1600 secondaries T51 kai hks unknown power as it was for a customer. Later this year i will be making one for my self but will build the whole thing from scratch instead of using factory manifolds, it should look 100x better , the factory castings are full of sand ( although mazda castings seem to be much better than nissan or mits castings) .

I'm also planning a custom manifold but problems with my other car have delayed me....

How is the drivability with that setup injectors, turbo, etc? I mean, at low-end street speeds. Is it a bitch to idle and get up to speed from a start?

Thanks,

Owen

On one of the option videos from japan round end of 99 they take a bunch of cars to nz for land speed records. One of the cars is scoots rx7 with an Fd engine using almost identical set up with t51 spl . You can hear how nice it sounds at idle maybe 1200rpm but clean pulse. The engine made 720 rwhp and managed an average of 327kph on shocking road in the rain ( give or take a k or to havent seen video in a long time). A friend of mine arranged the whole thing a told me it was probably the best prepared car there. One of the cars was the veilside gtr skyline which on one run destroys the sequential gearbox and blows both the turbos (but did manage around 334kph ) PP turbos work well with primary ports also, so do pp with all other 4 ports Revolution in japan make a fantastic cast lower fd manifold with stock and pp ports ( only 32mm pp) there demo car with t51 spl makes round 680 hp . I think ther web site is revo tune or something it should come up with google.

as we specalize in ppt and here is a basic set up we use 50mm ports,4x1650cc,custerm manafold,gt45rs turbo,60mm exturnal waste g8, but we doing a 57mm port at th momet for a custerma in n/a style it will gt 400hp and whn turboed it will gt close to 800-900hp at 30psi on race gas
