I noticed that the stock ports violate the outer oil control ring path, is it safe (no smoke at all) to port all the way to the divider between the inner and outer oil control rings?

A faulty premis. The stock ports do encroach on the path of the oil scraper, but not on the path of the scraper lip.

The perfectly round shape of the inside edge of all ports is the path of the lip as can be seen by the wear pattern on any engine with some time on it.

The stock port runs within (about) 1/16" from that scraper lip track.

There are some tuners who port inside the outer lip track.

There is an obvious amount of smoke at idle, but at speed so much air is mixing with the exhaust, that it is not enough to draw the attention of officials.

It would be a disaster on the street. And every policeman within miles would want to see you about it.

My guess is that a dry sump system turned at higher than normal speed could reduce the problem to some extent. But I have no evidence that it is possible.

I don't know how one would adjust the top oil mixture to account for the lubricating oil that is dumped into chamber each revolution.

So the answer is yes it is being done. Those that do it are easy to pick out at the track.

Some research on the dyno, and into a clean burning lubricating oil, might make it worth trying. The cars I have seen doing it have not been the quickest in the class.

It's after 11:00 PM. Do you know where your TDC mark is?

The other thread wasnt about this, i simply wanted to know wether or not there was enough casting to cut under the oil seal path (leaving it intact), or if the port bowl has enough casting to be cut at 90 degrees to the track, which is completly unrelated to this post, as it has to do with how im going to construct the port runners, and not the port timming itself. And no, im not actually cutting a 90 degree bowl ( not where the port is exposed atleast).
