What are you saying? We try to make our engines breath. That will make power. So, who cares what port, side or peripheral. The paper compares side, peripheral and combined, which will translate into a bridge if I am not mistaken. I am trying to find more info on exhaust ports and possible someone can just give me the corresponding mm up the rotor housings for these intake degrees.

the turn a sideport makes makes the ve different than a pp. the paragraphs on timing do not compare the pp and side port, its just the effect of timing on a pp race motor. this may not translate directly to a sideport motor.

if you want to find where on the housings these events occur, you need to make or buy a degree wheel, summit has em

It is better than anything else I have seen so far. Sure the PP is different nad has a more direct pass into the combustion chamber but timing must still hold true for all the ports?

I was trying to avoid buying a degree wheel myself. Also I thought is was a little more involved than just buying the degree wheel. Thanks for the pointer though.
