I figured out how the coil pack goes on the rats nest and have the three nuts. I don't have the bolts to screw down the rats nest and I don't understand how there is four holes on the rotor housings but only two holes line up with the rats nest and the other ones are covered? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

fd only uses 2 bolts?
The rats nest typically only uses one bolt per rotor housing, right? That's how it is on 1st gens.
Ummm, what is a rats nest? Sorry for newb question, never got around to asking it, and thought it was only on turbo'd 7's?
There's 4 holes (2 per housing) but the nest lines up on 3 of them. Apparently only three are used from the reply I received. I'm missing the 3 bolts but I have the 4 nuts to hold down the coil pack.
Rat's nest is slang for the spagetti looking vacuum hoses on 93-95's. |
Yep, and 'rat's nest' can be used on anything from 1st gen up to JC Cosmo stuff and beyond. My 20B was covered with it. Vacuum lines, oil lines, a multitude of switches, wires galore etc.
