Hi all,

I am currently rebuilding a 13BPP and have removed the OPRV to have the plates skimmed.

Should there be a spring in the OPRV? The 13B FM references the Control Valve in Chapter 2 (1985 RX7 FM) with a spring but there is no information on the OPRV.

Any info would be appreciated

Peter, yes there should be a spring in it. When you remove the OPRV, which is on the lower right inside corner of the rear plate, the spring is built in to the inside of it, you should be able to look down the hole at the end away from the thread and see it.

Makes sense to me anyway...
