noob oil pressure questions

ill give them a call today, all the adapter is there for is to block oil supply from the sump correct?



and where would i pull the -10 line from, and what thread size (1/2 npt?)

The ones I saw had a bayonet fitting for use of a push on hose to provide the oil. That fitting could be swapped out for a dash 4 by 1/8" pipe. The braided line is for looks. There is no pressure involved.

so you think the link i posted would be sufficient for oiling?



also, as for oiling the front main, where do you pull the oil from?



do you have a picture of a prepped race engine, that way i could kinda get the gist of where the lines run

Most people run an adaptor at the oil filter pedistal.

This is all I could find right now.



The big blue hose is from the dual filter mount and is pressure in, to the inner gallery to supply the rear main and the dowel gallery to the front iron. The outer gallery to the banjo fitting is not used. The stock pressure relief valve is not used, and the hole is plugged. Pressure control is at the external pump, Moroso or Peterson.



The stainless dash 4 is the oil pressure gage line. The oil temp bung is at the bottom and the line mostly hidden by the pressure in, line is the supply line to the front main bearing. This is in dash 10.
