This also might be a noob question, but wouldnt doing a mild port to your primarys and a large port to your secondarys give you low and high end power?

Yes and no.



You will get a wider power band, but your max number will be lower than if you had aggressive ports on primaries and secondaries. It's all about compromises.



You really can't just build an engine to make a number, you have to look at gearing, weight, aero, how/where the engine is used. Cars are sytems, not just parts.
