im looking into auxiliary injection to cool my air intake temp. down, and get rid of all the heavy, pressure dropping, lagging intercooler set up.

but im new to this...anyone here experienced with this?

i love the idea of turbo pressure strait into the manifold for quick throttle responce.

nice work!!!

thats exactly what i had in mind. cause i have the FD manifold on my TII. so i will kinda look like this one, but in a TII.

but is it safe for daily driving? can it be turned on and icreased by boost, or throttle responce. im new to AI.

since im only using it for street, could i just have it after the turbo, not before?

100% methanol? or mix with water....where can i read up on this, instead of asking all these rookie questions??? lol

That setup has been daily driven for about 10k miles. You can turn it on however you want, you're creativity is the only limit. You can also use whatever mix you want, best thing to do is just experiment yourself. I like 75/25.

Its got both pre and post compressor. There is another nozzel on the greddy elbow. Thats how I prefer to do it if you're not going to run an inter-cooler. That car is currently running 50/50. You gotta remember nothing is clear cut, every car is different. You just need to do your own experimenting and figure it out for yourself.

I would still go with an intercooler. If you are worried about lag, etc... what about going with a smaller stock mount and still add AI? But then again would be alot more cost effective not having to buy an intercooler.

The best combination is a quality inter-cooler, with proper ducting, in a good location in addition to AI.

I'm adding an intercooler to an almost identical setup as the one above, but a bigger turbo and 18psi...

Intake temps were just too hot doing full 4th gear pulls over and over again..
