Ok, here is my idea, tell if this works, i searched, but didn';t really find anything promising ...

My idea is, getting a NA block, and putting Turbo rotors in it, then custom intaks and exhaust, i would have the 6 ports Bridgeported. would this give me serious power, or would it be overkill ???

Thanks

Whats your budget, and what are your goals?

Snoxxy 06-14-2004 09:13 AM

goal is to be fast the car would be used for drift and roadracing, also autocross.

so there you go, and budget, since i am planning on building this engine the right way, no budget, and if it will take me 2 years Oo, but is it possible, or would be gains so minimal, that it is not worth it ???

fast u mean like 200 hp or 700 hp, fast is a relative term:)

i don't understand the turbo rotors part... explain?

Snoxxy 06-14-2004 03:14 PM

The turbo rotor compression is different, thats why it's better to run those, and fast would be somewhere around 250 rwhp, with as little lag as possible ( turbolag )

we have a hybrid turbo on a stock cosmo engine that made 225rwhp@5-6psi, response is great, power curve is very linear.

if you only want 250hp theres no reason to get fancy

ah, i was under the impression you were going n/a with your setup. anyway, yeah 250 would be relatively easy to do especially with a standalone.

Snoxxy 06-15-2004 08:35 AM

well like i said, it will be used for drifting and road racing, i rather have a lil less power, but no lag https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Peronally I like a divided manifold and turbine housing. Helped quite a bit with my setup (60-1 P-trim) as far as low to mid range boost and torque. S5 turbos/manifolds are divided.
