Ito!

I'll bet you'll be needing larger injectors!

Everything looks great!

car keeps getting/looking better and better. cant wait to see it at the track. keep the locals informed if there will be any "testing" done in front of the shop.lol

now 2 questions...

is there a reason behind having the semi p-ports to run off the primaries instead of off the secondaries??

and, is the engine full bridged or partial?

Good observation, Yes there is a reason. I merged the primary intake runners with the semi- peripheral because the secondary intake runners are huge. Large to the point that it would make the semi-peri almost useless. Because the secondary runners are so large the semi-peri would be left starving for air/ fuel. The larger secondary port would suck a larger vacuum and almost making the semi non- existing. After studying and measuring port sizes I decided I would make the semi-peri more efficient using the primary smaller port to feed the semi-peripheral. I can't wait to dyno and see results.

To answer your second question the engine is fully bridged.

judge,

how did you determine what was the correct length of each runner?

that mani looks like the one on our 2002 Queen's University Race car with a Honda CBR600 engine

Here is a pic of us on the dyno tuning to get the correct runner length.

Here is a pic of us on the dyno tuning to get the correct runner length.

Talking to a couple of manifold companies, like Hogan Manifolds,Wilson Manifolds. We talked about my specific type of application. Power band, CFM and none turbo application and came up with CFM for the throttle body and runner inside diameter. Length came about the RPM that I'm looking for power with this engine that I'm using. We have dynoed 1 peripheral port with a 5 inch intake manifold runner length and saw at what rpm the power started to drop, dynoed a bridgeport with a longer manifold and saw does results and dynoed a bridgeport using a down draft webber with a longer manifold and saw better torque and a higher power band. Measured that set up and came up with my length. I did a little bit of research and hope it pays off.

well it doesnt look like it would be too hard to change the length of the manifold if you have to judge, it just wont be pretty anymore
