would using race corner seal springs make it any more likely for the corner seal to fall in when using a 4mm bridge? the reason i ask is because i dont trust them little flimsy ones and the corer seal is only out about .015

4mm is still a lot, i woudl use the fd ones, ito has moer experience with BP engines mayeb he can shine some light on this.

The old wire type were meant for the 6mm carbon apex seals. Mazda never upraged them until the FD. Good thing the FD type can be used with 3mm apex seals, eh?

The spring should not be a factor. The .015 sounds a little weak but it dosen't need much at all.

With a bridge that narrow, a three piece apex seal is out of the question.

So long as any part of the corner seal is supported by the bridge, it can't fall out.

The bridge should also support the leading end of the side seal, and that would put the corner seal almost dead center on the bridge.
