Hello all,

I have a 12a with a good size street port and Weber 48IDA carb. I was told it should make around 180hp-200hp when we rebuilt it. I would like to get some more power out of it. What does everyone recommend?? Turbo, Fuel Injection, NOS?? I'm trying to keep it cost affective. Has anyone been told changing the pulleys out to a different size or something gets 8-10hp? Please help

underdrive pullies do add hp yes. you also can do a small bridge port if your goin to rebuild it anyways that will give you more power. also port the intake manifold runners and duct cold air into the carbs by using a closed off to the under hood elements air box

No temp issues. The motor is out in the open with a big oil cooler and radiator. What size shot of NOS?

not s temp issue but a true cold air box,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, we do it on the EP rx7s with webbers and it works well for giving that extra little bit of power. i was not saying anything about temp issues.

Cool, I plan on doing cold intake. Do you know where I can get the full set of underdrive pullies?

This might sound dum, but what exactly is a direct fire ignition?
