So my new motor is done... I've driven it just a couple of times. but tonight I finally got on it a little bit. The first time I blew apart one of my hoses. I got that fixed... Loose Clamp.

But it doesn't seem to make the boost of my old motor...I'm seeing just 5 PSI.

I could have the wastegate or BOV connected wrong?

Oh and the Turbo is used... but it seemed to rotate fine and didn't have much play.

Chances are you have a boost leak somewhere.

For the love of god move that intake off your 200degree radiator..

Yeah the air cleaner was suppost to be temporary... I didn't not want to run one. But there's a big WRX scoop that pulls air down on top of the motor.

So short of putting a cam corder under the hood, any idea's on how to find it? I didn't do any adjustments to the BOV, but it seems to be working. But that's easy enough to bypass. So the wastegate would be the only other source.

You can either run it on a dyno or pressurize the intake tract with a regulator and an air compressor..

I was abled to make a boost pressure tester out of a top of a can, silicone coupler, and a valve stem worked great was abled to find the leak almost instantly
