Thumbs up

I have found a guy that claims to be selling two rotors out of a running '91 NA.

The price is good but the photo he sent me has me concerned.

The one on the left looks good and correct (compared to what I have pulled from my '91 core motor). The one on the right in the photo appears to have damage OR is out of a different model. The "bowl" on the face of the rotor appears to be wider at the top than at the bottom.

Is it just a bad photo?

Is this what a turbo rotor looks like?

Is it a S5 n/a rotor?

Thanks.

Righthand one looks like an earlier n/a rotor. Try weighing them, they should be within 50 grams of each other if they are the same model and weight code (A thru E)

89-91 rotors have a uniform milled surface over the entire face of the rotor including the bathtub.

the s4 rotors are easy to spot they have cast combustion recesses like the one on the right and 2mm apex grooves. the s5+ rotors all have machined cumbustion recesses. the difference between em is the size of the depression (s5+) the 9.7's will have a shallower one
