ok there are 2 na roads you can take

1. have smog or might have smog in the future; you can swap exhausts every 2 years, or if your really hardcore you can have a stock smog motor, and a ported go fast motor that you can swap every 2 years. a ported motor wont pass smog at low rpms

2. no smog; go for a big street port 4 port and a carby, or aftermarket efi

it depends on the porting, stock ports will get you about 140-150rwhp. on a 4 port with a 48ida weber it should be a tad over 200rwhp
