1. have smog or might have smog in the future; you can swap exhausts every 2 years, or if your really hardcore you can have a stock smog motor, and a ported go fast motor that you can swap every 2 years. a ported motor wont pass smog at low rpms 2. no smog; go for a big street port 4 port and a carby, or aftermarket efi mike |
who makes a good aftermarket efi?
haltec and microtek
how much hp does that usually put out

well how much hp does a 89 nt have
ok, for an 89 N/a, go for a healthy streetport, RB road race header/dual midpipe and muffler and slap a weber 48 DCOE on it. Easily over 200HP.
Almost same result with a RB holley set-up. You won't get the same power level with stock EFI. You will need a lot more cash for aftermarket fuel management systems. Question is.....how much cash do you have? |
ok what exactly is a weber 48 DCOE?..and whats up witht that header..how much will that run me?
