A/I Fuel Cell
#1
Pretty much what the description says.
For those who already have functional A/I systems running what would your suggestions be with regards to the tank to hold the water/meth mixture?? I'm thinking a 4 gallon fuel cell mounted in the trunk where the spare tire would go.
What do you all think? I went to Summit to check out fuel cells but the cheapest one I could find was $99.95 (4 gallon plastic drag racing fuel cell).
I know that getting my A/I in and working is not going to be cheap, and I'm not trying to cut corners or anything, but...
Thanks for your input guys!

Anybody?
Nobody???
Ok... so here is what I'm thinking...
Basically I think it would be best to stick with a plastic "fuel" tank, since Methanol is so corrosive (anybody want to confirm?). I figure a metal tank can be easily welded into place in the trunk, though a plastic tank can have brackets welded into place in order to hold it where it needs to be.
4-5 gallons (US spec) should be more than enough for a complete tank of gas, anything more will just become overkill.
I'll be back in the states for Leave (military vacation) for the next three weeks and plan to be buying EVERYTHING needed for my install while I'm home. I would truly appreciate any input from those of you who already have these systems in and running in your cars.
Thanks,
Levi
