Hi all.

Sorry i may have put this in the wrong section??

I've just rebuilt my motor and in the proses fitted a HKS To4r to my Fd, thing is i've noticed the Air temp on my PFC has risen by 10deg even though i'm not running allot more hp than i was with my twins (Twins 310rwhp T04R 330rwhp)

Thing is i was thinking maybe the IC was too small? but even when the car was on the rollers there was not a massive jump when it was on and off load.

Also i noticed the Inlet manifold itself is getting hot? it seems to be the lower manifold is absorbing the heat of the Engine/Turbo and whilst its running you can feel the heat going up the lower manifold and into the upper, after a run of ten miles or so you can't touch the lower inlet and the upper is quite hot which worries me as i'd like to raise the boost but i don't want to while there is an Issue some where down the line.

I did think about getting some of those Thermal gaskets and rigging up some heat shields but i don' recall it ever getting this hot on the twins? so have i missed something or done something wrong?

Any ideas?

Yes, but now your funneling exhaust through one turbo instead of two...one possibility; second, maybe its running a little lean (I doubt it) ....install cooler therm.
